Whether you want to improve morale, resolve employee relation issues, or correct performance problems, your success depends upon how skillful you are at bringing up difficult issues constructively and then guiding the conversation in a productive direction. For many people, the ability to do this is the "weakest link" between their sincere desire to do the right thing... and having a positive outcome.

Most people fall into two camps: those who avoid having difficult discussions until the problem escalates into a "can't ignore any longer" status... and those who address issues in such a blunt, confrontational ways, they end up damaging employee morale and motivation. Whichever camp you might relate to, this workshop will help you become more effective at engaging employees in these all important conversations.

This program is for managers and HR professionals who want to:

This program will provide you with practical ideas and techniques for bringing up important issues and sensitive subjects in a way that increases the other person's willingness to discuss them maturely and hear your point of view. It will also help you keep the conversation on track, moving toward a productive conclusion. No role-playing will be required.

In this program, you will learn:

What Seminar Participants Say About David Lee:

"Having seen a lot of speakers, I can't tell just you how impressed I was by David. I even waited in line to talk with him... I learned a great deal and laughed my butt off in the process... When we have someone who is so genuine and so well prepared, we owe it to each other to spread the word.... I take it very seriously when I recommend someone else's work and... he's great!" - Naomi Judd

"Thank you for your seminar 'How To Keep Your Staff Inspired, Energized, And Passionate About Their Work!' This was powerful information and advice...delivered in a gentle, fun and caring way! Great job" - Connie Roy-Czyzowski, VP of Human Resources, Northeast Delta Dental

Swim, Regional Director, Lincoln Financial Group

Why the Low Fee?  The fee has been kept low for two reasons. First, it’s to make it easy for you  to send more than one manager, because the more managers who attend, the greater the impact this material will have on your company. I’ve also kept the fee low to remove any “barriers of entry”, as a way to give you a chance to preview my work. At the risk of stating the obvious… learning the skills and practices that bring out the best in employees takes more than a half-day seminar. So, my hope is that you will recognize the impact this material can have on your company’s success, and will want to invest in ongoing management development and coaching.
